 cron
 SYNTAX
       /etc/cron
 FUNCTION
cron executes commands at dates and times
as prescribed in the file /usr/lib/crontab.
Since cron never exits (is a daemon) it
needs to be executed only once. cron runs only
in multi-user mode and is started almost
       invariably by the /etc/rc file!
NOTE: cron checks once a minute to see if
the file /usr/lib/crontab has been changed, and
if it has, cron reads it. Therefore it takes at
most a minute for entries to be become effective.
Assuming you do not know whether the cron
process has been started or not on your
system, please type cron to make sure!
