 newgrp
 SYNTAX
       newgrp [ group ]
 FUNCTION
newgrp changes the group ID of its caller.
Neither the person's user id nor the current
directory are changed by this command; however,
the access permissions to files are checked
with respect of the new group id.
newgrp without an argument changes the
group id to the callers login group id
(as specified in the /etc/passwd file).
 NOTE:
If the new group has a password, the user will be
prompted for the password. When most users
login, they are members of the group others!
Let us get a feeling for the command newgrp
