<CR> to continue
The CR stands for Carriage Return. Locate the key marked
Return or Enter on your keyboard. This key may also be

An excellent feature of CTI courseware is the ability
to exit the training session temporarily to use your
own UNIX Operating System and then return to the same
place in the tutorial.
(This feature is not available under DOS.)
You may only do this during the textual presentations.

You can temporarily leave the tutorial to use your own
UNIX Operating System by typing:
! followed by <CR>
To return to the tutorial from your system, you must hold
down the CONTROL key while you press the d key. When
keys must be pressed simultaneously, we shall hyphenate
them like <CONTROL-d>. For practice, please press
<CONTROL-d> now. Nothing will happen this time; this
is just for practice.

Another excellent feature of CTI courseware is the ability
to quit at any time from a textual presentation, graphic
presentation, practice screen, or review session. You can exit
a level of the tutorial by entering:
q followed by <CR>
After entering q , the system will exit the current
presentation sequence and begin the presentation
sequence on the next level. This may be a text screen,
an animation sequence, a menu, or the UNIX shell prompt.

CTI courseware also allows you to interrupt the tutorial
session by pressing an interrupt key. This key may be
labeled del, delete, rubout, or break. Or, you may have
to use the combination of keys, <CONTROL-c>.
You may interrupt a tutorial ONLY while the system is
asking you for input. When you press the interrupt key,
the system will ask you whether you wish to continue. If
you answer with y the training session will continue; if
you answer with n or give another answer the tutorial
session will terminate.
