The accounting system is of little value when there is only
a single user on the system. Therefore, as a single user, you
may elect not to use it at all. On installations with
several users, the accounting system should be shut down
upon powering down of the system.

The toggle command under UNIX is /usr/etc/accton!
Typically you would include this command in the /etc/shutdown
script, which would cause the accounting to be shut down automatically
every time the system is moved from the multi- to the single-user mode!
If you went through a quick
 shutdown procedure whereby the
 /etc/shutdown script was not
 executed, the command that you'd
have to type prior to quick shutdown
 to accomplish the same is:
 $PROMPT$
 That is correct!
You've got it on the 2nd try.
 Good, you understand the concept.
 Please type /usr/etc/accton
 Please type /usr/etc/accton
You will be helped this time!
 $PROMPT$

FORGET1

 /usr/etc/accton
 $PROMPT$
 <CR> - to continue
