   OPTIONS

    -a   -    Causes news to print all items,
          regardless of currency.  In this case, the stored time
          is not changed.

    -n   -    Causes news to print the names of
          the current items without printing their contents and
          without changing the stored time.

    -s   -    Causes news to report how many current
          items exist, without printing their names or contents
          and without changing the stored time.

GO

 The command news is used to keep the user informed
 of current events.  By convention these "news" items are the
 contents of the files in the /usr/news directory.
 The command news has the flags/options as shown above.
 Note however; if there are no files in the /usr/news directory, or
 if your system does not have the news command, you will not
 be able to see the action of the news command.
 Let us see the news items on
 your system by typing the
 news -a command:
